“Personal Change” And Now Has A New Name

Kelly Clarkson has a statement for all of her fans following her court appearance. Officially, Kelly Clarkson is no longer Kelly Clarkson. Going forward, Kelly Brianne, the American Idol winner and talk show presenter, will be referred to by her legal name. Because Clarkson is connected to her well-known brand, the singer has chosen to abandon Clarkson and adopt her middle name, Brianne, as her new official last name.

The Kelly Clarkson Show will remain called The Kelly Brianne Show, and she will continue to present it. Alongside Snoop Dogg, she co-hosts the American Song Contest at the moment. She will continue to be identified as Kelly Clarkson for that contest show.

Following her divorce from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, Kelly Brianne said in a prior interview with PEOPLE magazine that she was truly deleting her marital name, Blackstock. She made the following statements in that interview:

“My married last name had to go,” “I just kept my middle name for my personal life,” she continued.

Kelly clarified, however, that she would continue to be addressed as Kelly Clarkson when making official appearances. “I don’t think I can change Clarkson at this point,” she remarked. After twenty years,In her private life, Kelly Brianne will go by Kelly Brianne, but Kelly Clarkson will still be known by that name for her job in the public eye.

“I just got divorced, so I had to drop my married last name. I just kept my middle name for my personal life. I’m still Kelly Clarkson,” she explained on the March 21 episode of People (the TV Show!). “I don’t think I can change Clarkson at this point. I’m 20 years in!”
