Shania Twain’s crew members needed immediate medical attention after the tour bus they were riding crashed in Canada. Twain is currently on her Queen of Me Tour and has been traveling from area to area.Several members of Shania Twain’s tour crew were rushed to the hospital after suffering a road accident. They were traveling on a highway between Winnipeg and Saskatoon, Canada when they passed through black ice that caused the accident.
When responders arrived at the scene, they found the bus on its side. The fire chief of a nearby town, Dwayne Stone, said that the roads were slippery in the area because of rain.Stone revealed they had to break the windows and use the bus’ emergency hatch to rescue the 13 people inside. “It looks like they lost control, went into the ditch sideways, and then the wheels caught the ground and it rolled,” he shared.
The owner of the tour bus, Beat the Street USA, also confirmed the unfortunate accident on Instagram. According to their statement, the bus experienced black ice on the road, causing it to topple over.
Shania Twain’s manager, Leila Hebden, also revealed that their crew members who needed medical attention were immediately taken to the nearest hospitals. Ultimately, the passengers suffered minor injuries, and none were deemed to be life-threatening.
Hebden clarified that Twain herself was not on the bus during the incident. As her crew members recovered from their industries, the “Still The One” singer will continue with her tour.
Twain had just finished her Winnipeg concert on Tuesday. She continues her tour on Thursday, where she’s set to perform at the SaskTel Center in Saskatoon.
