Hollywood star Kathie Lee Gifford, 70, has built a phenomenal career in the entertainment industry. She has worn the hat of actress, author, singer, and talk show host, to name a few titles she has held throughout her professional life.

Apart from her illustrious career, the “Then Came You” star is a doting mom to her two kids, Cassidy and Cody Gifford, whom she shares with her late husband, Frank Gifford. As of last year, Kathie adopted a new title and role in her life: a loving grandmother.

Kathie became a first-time grandma after her son, Cody, and his wife, Erika Gifford, welcomed a baby boy at the end of May 2022. When baby Frank Michael Gifford, named after his late grandfather and late maternal uncle, was born, his mama bear took to social media to share:

“Frank Michael Gifford, “Frankie” has changed our lives forever. We have not stopped bursting with so much love and gratitude for God’s most precious gift…”

Baby Frankie’s parents were not the only ones ecstatic over his arrival, as his doting grandma gushed over how much she adores her grandson. While discussing her view on grandmotherhood, which she refers to as a gift, Kathie proceeded to swoon over little Frank:

“I knew I was going to love Frank instantly because I love babies. But this is my son’s child — it’s all such a beautiful tapestry of life and creation.”She also reflected on how full circle the moment of Frank’s arrival was for her, recalling the time when her son was just a small boy who would kiss his sister’s forehead gently and seeing him do the same thing now with his firstborn. Earlier this year, Cody and Erika announced they were expecting baby number two.

Like his parents, baby Frank was excited to hear that he would soon become a big brother. An adorable video posted by Erika showed Frank lovingly kissing his mama’s pregnant belly, and another photo showed him excitedly pointing at the bump. According to Erika, Frank made a habit of doing sweet things that showed he was more than ready to become a big brother:

“The way Frankie comes up to my belly and says ‘hi!’ and ‘baby’ and gives my belly so many kisses all the time just absolutely melts us…Lately, he’s started feeding the baby (my belly) with his fork or pouring his bottle all over my belly…”
