Theodore Sloan, the lawyer Walter had trusted for years, arrived at Gloria’s home carrying his own folder. Bianca immediately became nervous, while Kevin looked pale and uncomfortable. Gloria calmly introduced Theodore as the attorney who had handled her and Walter’s legal documents. She explained that since everyone intended to sign papers that morning, she wanted everything done properly and transparently.
Before anyone could sign, Theodore insisted on reading Bianca’s documents aloud, explaining that Gloria deserved to understand every word before putting her name anywhere. Bianca and Kevin tried to suggest postponing the discussion, but Gloria refused. She had spent the morning listening to their conversation and now wanted the truth exposed.
