After a couple of months, Ethan was finally named Tim\u2019s adoptive father in court. As he had no wife or girlfriend, he raised Tim alone, and since then, they were inseparable.<\/p>\n

One day, Ethan asked the entire family to spend a weekend afternoon in his room. Together, they watched Disney movies that the kids enjoyed.<\/p>\n

That same night, Tim went back to Ethan\u2019s room to find the glasses he left there. When he opened his dad\u2019s bedside table, he was surprised to see a photograph of his mother. He flipped it over, thinking it was the picture he had with him all his life until he realized it said, \u201cI\u2019m sorry, Ethan\u201d on the back, instead of \u201cI\u2019m sorry, Tim.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen your mother left your dad, he was motivated to do better. He wanted you to be in his life, so he trained hard to be good at his job. However, it took him two years before he was able to get up on his feet and earn enough money,\u201d Ethan replied.<\/p>\n

After a couple of seconds, Tim asked the question he really wanted to ask. \u201cHow do you know all of this?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s because I\u2019m your dad, Tim. I\u2019m your biological dad,\u201d Ethan said, immediately getting a hold of Tim\u2019s hand. \u201cI\u2019m so sorry for keeping this from you, Tim. I was so afraid it would change our relationship I wanted to keep it a secret forever,\u201d he admitted.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou should have told me this years ago! Why didn\u2019t you?!\u201d he said, almost raising his voice at his dad. Tim was shocked, but he was not angry with his dad at all. He loved him dearly.<\/p>\n
