If you\u2019ve watched Jeopardy! at any point during the last week, than you\u2019ve seen Grant DeYoung accumulating thousands of dollars over the course of four wins.<\/p>\n
If you paid close attention to the game show, you may have noticed there\u2019s something different about how DeYoung plays the game compared to his fellow contestants.<\/p>\n
The grocery clerk from Arizona has been sitting in a chair!<\/p>\n
Many took to social media to express their curiosity \u2013 and in some instances their annoyance \u2013 about DeYoung\u2019s accommodation.<\/p>\n
On Monday, producer Sarah Whitcomb Foss spoke about DeYoung\u2019s arrangement for the show on the Inside Jeopardy! podcast.<\/p>\n
\u201cFans have been noticing that Grant is sitting in a chair during his games,\u201d she said. \u201cThis is something that we always offer to contestants.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe don\u2019t ask why; it\u2019s not our business,\u201d she said, adding, \u201cIf you want a chair, we\u2019ll give it to you.\u201d<\/p>\n
