Six months after announcing he was cancer-free, Eric Braeden is giving fans an update on his health.<\/p>\n

In February, the Young and the Restless star sat down with Entertainment Tonight to share some positive news as well as a reminder to all of his fans.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy cancer diagnosis right now is on hold, as it were, and [I\u2019m] very grateful for very good doctors and very good modern cancer treatment which has improved enormously,\u201d the 83-year-old actor said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople shouldn\u2019t be afraid of it, you know. Just go and have your cystoscopy, have your colonoscopy, have you heart checked out. Do all that, do it in time.\u201d <\/p>\n
