Bob Saget passed away on 9 January 2022 at the age of 65. He left behind his wife, Kelly Rizzo. The two had been married from 2018 to 2022 when the actor passed.<\/p>\n

Rizzo recently opened up about her relationship with actor Breckin Meyer. Once the relationship was confirmed, some people thought it was too soon for her to start dating.<\/p>\n

Now, Rizzo is defending herself and her choices. She made a TikTok video where she says, \u201cUnless you are a widow or widower, you truly have absolutely no place and no right to comment on this because you do not know what it\u2019s like.\u201d<\/p>\n

44-year-old Kelly Rizzo reflected on her grief journey, how she has been navigating through it, and her desire for companionship. She says on TikTok, \u201cYou just don\u2019t understand the incredibly complex, difficult, and dynamic thoughts and feelings that come up during this entire process.\u201d<\/p>\n

She said she had a lot of support from Saget\u2019s friends and family, and despite all of that, she had an internal struggle as she felt guilt as well as loneliness. Kelly Rizzo shared how everyone has their own journey toward finding love again and how it is deeply personal. She also pointed out how there is no one-size-fits-all timeline for healing.<\/p>\n

Rizzo said that she did not even consider finding love until over a year after her late husband\u2019s death. She made her relationship with actor Meyer, known for Clueless and Rat Race, public at the 2024 GRAMMYs viewing party. The two of them were spotted on the red carpet holding hands.<\/p>\n

Rizzo also expressed her gratitude to Saget\u2019s daughters, Aubrey, Lara, and Jennifer. Saget shared the three girls with his ex-wife, Sherri Kramer. In another video, Rizzo said that she felt blessed by all the support she had from Saget\u2019s loved ones.<\/p>\n

As she embarked on a new chapter, Rizzo made clear that she still had a lot of love for Saget in her heart. \u201cI was concerned about how I was going to move on and find someone who really appreciates what I went through,\u201d she admits. \u201cI understand that Bob is always going to be a part of my life, and I\u2019m very fortunate that I was able to find someone who holds space for and appreciates it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saget died at the age of 65 years old on January 9, 2022. He was found dead in a hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida. His cause of death was ruled as accidental health trauma.<\/p>\n
