But we know that his spirit is as strong as ever,\u201d in an interview with CBS Sunday Morning.<\/p>\n<p>The Carter family expressed their gratitude for the support received over the past year and stated that President Carter continues to be at home with his family. They also appreciated the discussions sparked by Carter\u2019s decision to enter hospice care.<\/p>\n<p>Remarkably, Carter is among the six percent of people who have lived more than a year after entering hospice care.
