With Morgan Wallen\u2019s \u2018Last Night\u2019 placing No. 2 and Luke Combs\u2019 \u2018Fast Car\u2019 coming in third, it marked the first time in the Billboard chart\u2019s 65-year history country songs claimed the top three spots.<\/p>\n
\u201cTry That In A Small Town\u201d is also Aldean\u2019s first No.1 on the Hot 100. The achievement comes after Aldean faced backlash following the release of the song\u2019s music video.<\/p>\n
Many people accused the song of being \u2018racist\u2019 and \u2018pro-lynching\u2019, and it was even pulled from the airwaves as fellow celebrities and musicians chimed in with their opinions.<\/p>\n
