Sometimes when we see things that seem strange, we might choose to ignore them. This young man however decided to make sure he does not ignore what he saw and stood up against it, which essentially helped him save a life\u2026<\/p>\n
17-year-old Boston resident Cameron Cook was like any normal teenager. He was accompanying his mother on a trip to Target. <\/p>\n
The teenager probably expected a day of some shopping, but fate had something else in store for them. When they were at the store, looking around, Cameron\u2019s sharp eyes spotted something disturbing. <\/p>\n
He saw a large grown man approach a little girl and refuse to leave her side.<\/p>\n
Immediately, Cameron knew something wasn\u2019t right. His mother suggested they ignore the situation and leave, but that did not sit right with Cameron at all. Cameron recalled seeing a \u201cdemonic look\u201d in the man\u2019s eyes and that he was reportedly touching himself while staring luridly at the little girl, which set off alarm bells in the 17-year-old\u2019s head.<\/p>\n
\u201cI seen the guy grabbing himself, and my mom goes, \u2018Cam let\u2019s go, keep walking.\u2019 I was like, no, something\u2019s going on,\u201d Cameron told CBS. And what Cameron\u2019s mother didn\u2019t know was that her son would save the girl from a te.rr.ible fate.<\/p>\n
The man smelled of liquor, and as he touched himself, he walked toward the little girl. When Cameron realized what was going on, he didn\u2019t hesitate. <\/p>\n
Without the slightest f.ear, Cameron went up to the large man and asked him if he knew the girl. The man declared, \u201cI\u2019m not a per.v.ert! I\u2019m not a per.v.ert!\u201d
\n\u201cI didn\u2019t ask you that, sir,\u201d the brave teenager replied.<\/p>\n
He stood his ground and confronted the grown man, till he was uncomfortable enough with Cameron\u2019s questioning to run right out of the store. But Cameron wants no praise for his actions, only to inspire others to step in when they feel that something is not right. <\/p>\n
While this incident is from November 2016, it is a timeless example of being a good person. <\/p>\n
This young man deserves all of our praise!<\/p>\n
