He was only a few weeks old when Angie and Aaron were updated that he was sick. He immediately began a series of treatments at a children\u2019s hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Two years later, Angie gave birth to Caison, and the family had to go through the same process they had with Tristen. On January 6, the discovered that Carter also had retinoblastoma in both eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Although most people would think this coincidence is impossible, it\u2019s actually not such a big surprise. Angie had a retinoblastoma when she was a baby and lost her left eye when she was six weeks old. But I also know that I was blessed\u201d, Angie said.<\/p>\n<p>Although Carter has just begun the process of chemotherapy treatments, the family is optimistic about the children\u2019s future.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are fighters\u201d, said Jean Rush, the children\u2019s grandmother.
