\u201cWhat\u2019s wrong with that?\u201d asks the young man.<\/p>\n
He answers between the sobs and sniffles, \u201cYou can\u2019t understand. She\u2019s a natural blonde, twenty-five, intelligent, a marvelous cook, and a meticulous housekeeper. She is also my best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
He breaks down, no longer able to speak.<\/p>\n

He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend.<\/p>\n
The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring.<\/p>\n
The man said, \u201cNo, I\u2019d like to see something more special.\u2019<\/p>\n
At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought another ring over. \u201cHere\u2019s a stunning ring for just $40,000,\u201d the jeweler said.<\/p>\n
The lady\u2019s eyes sparkled, and her whole body trembled with excitement.<\/p>\n
The old man, seeing this, said, \u2018We\u2019ll take it.\u2019<\/p>\n
The jeweler asked how the payment would be made, and the man replied, \u2018By check. I know you need to make sure my check is good, so I\u2019ll write it now, and you can call the bank Monday to verify the funds; I\u2019ll pick the ring up Monday afternoon.\u2019<\/p>\n
On Monday morning, the jeweler angrily phoned the old man and said, \u2018 Sir\u2026There\u2019s no money in that account.\u201d<\/p>\n
