An 85-year-old man was driving down the highway when he suddenly saw flashing lights in his rearview mirror.
\nA police officer was pulling him over!<\/p>\n
The old man sighed and muttered, \u201cNot again\u2026\u201d but instead of stopping, he hit the gas.<\/p>\n
He sped up to 70 mph, then 80 mph\u2026 then 90 mph!<\/p>\n
The police siren wailed louder, and the officer yelled through the speaker, \u201cPULL OVER NOW!\u201d<\/p>\n
The old man sighed again and thought, What am I doing? I\u2019m too old for this nonsense. So he finally pulled over.<\/p>\n
The officer walked up to his window, shaking his head. \u201cSir, what on earth were you thinking? You were speeding AND trying to outrun the police! This is serious.\u201d<\/p>\n
The old man gave a tired smile and said, \u201cOfficer, let me explain. My wife ran off with a cop 30 years ago, and when I saw your lights, I thought you were bringing her back.\u201d<\/p>\n
The officer burst out laughing.<\/p>\n
After wiping his tears, the officer said, \u201cAlright, sir. Just drive safe, and have a good day.\u201d<\/p>\n

An old man walks up to the counter of a pawn shop with an old, weathered guitar.
\n\u201cI\u2019d like your expert opinion on this guitar, how much do you think it\u2019s worth?\u201d asks the old man.<\/p>\n
The pawnbroker looks it up and down.<\/p>\n
\u201cWell I can tell right now that there\u2019s a little warping in the neck, the lacquer is faded and there are scratches and dents all over it. It\u2019s an old, well-played guitar but I don\u2019t think it\u2019s worth any more than twenty bucks.\u201d<\/p>\n
The old man reaches his hand out and says.<\/p>\n
\u201cOkay, if that\u2019s what you think it\u2019s worth, you have a deal!\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cGreat!\u201d Replies the pawnbroker, shaking his hand.<\/p>\n
\u201cHere\u2019s twenty bucks.\u201d Says the old man.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ll buy it right now!\u201d<\/p>\n
The broker stops and suddenly looks confused.<\/p>\n
\u201cWait, buy?\u201d He asks.<\/p>\n
\u201cYes!\u201d Smiles the old man as he flips the guitar over.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis one has a sticker price of $150, but now that I have your honest opinion I think twenty bucks is a great deal.\u201d<\/p>\n
