I want them to be part of it because I\u2019m so proud of the hard work that they\u2019ve done this year, and the fact that they\u2019ve not only survived the pandemic \u2014 but thrived in it \u2014 and watching them grow as people this school year, they deserve to be up there with me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alexandra said she checked with the students\u2019 parents first to make sure it would be okay for them to take part and gifted the girls faux pearl necklaces and the boys colorful sunglasses.
