\nHe asks the guests, \u201cI will bet $500 that none of you can drink 10 pints of Guinness in 10 minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n
People raise their heads but ignore the absurd bet and go back to drinking and having fun, except an Irishman who leaves the bar.<\/p>\n
Some time passes and the Irishman returns to the pub and approaches the Texan. \u201cIs yer bet still on the table?\u201d<\/p>\n
The Texas man replies, \u201cSure it is! Bartender, get this man his drinks.\u201d<\/p>\n
The bartender lines up 10 pints of Guinness on the bar.<\/p>\n
The Irishman starts drinking and drinks all the Guinness in less than 5 minutes.<\/p>\n
Astonished, the Texas man hands over the money and asks, \u201cWell, can I ask you where you went earlier? Did you go to prepare in some ancient Irish way?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo. I went to the pub next door first to see if I could do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
