The judge ordered Bank of America to pay the couple $2,534 in legal fees.<\/p>\n<p>5 months passed, and Bank of America hadn\u2019t paid the couple. That\u2019s when the couple\u2019s attorney, Todd Allen, decided to give the bank a taste of their own medicine.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/newzdiscover.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/385310315_122129697320021704_3607083842504379446_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"696\" height=\"362\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2476\" srcset=\"https:\/\/newzdiscover.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/385310315_122129697320021704_3607083842504379446_n.jpg 696w, https:\/\/newzdiscover.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/385310315_122129697320021704_3607083842504379446_n-300x156.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On May 20, police and moving vans showed up at the bank to legally seize bank assets.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI instructed the deputy to go in and take desks, computers, copiers, and filing cabinets, including cash in the drawers,\u201d Allen told WINK.<\/p>\n<p>Allen was reportedly locked out of the bank manager\u2019s office while the manager tried to figure out what to do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaving two Sheriff\u2019s deputies sitting across your desk, and a lawyer standing behind them, demanding whatever assets are in the bank can be intimidating,\u201d Allen said. \u201cBut, so is having your home foreclosed on when it wasn\u2019t right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bank of America finally paid the couple. No assets were actually seized, and the bank apologized for the delay in payment.
