When I was about 14, something strange happened to me one night. I went to bed at my usual time, as I had every other night, without thinking anything out of the ordinary was going to occur. I felt the same comfort and safety in my room, and after a few minutes of lying there, I drifted off to sleep. However, what followed was anything but normal.<\/p>\n
I woke up what felt like just a few hours later, but the sunlight coming through the window seemed unusual. It was bright and piercing, almost as if I had missed an entire day. As I groggily looked at the clock, I realized with horror that I had been asleep for two full days. Panic immediately set in, and I couldn\u2019t understand how or why this had happened.<\/p>\n
