Was this how my in-laws flirted? I knew Margot\u2019s handwriting, so it was easy to decipher that. But then, I realized that the other messages were signed off by someone named \u201cBlue Comet\u201d \u2014 a name that just kept popping up.<\/p>\n<p>Who on earth was \u201cBlue Comet\u201d? I wondered.<\/p>\n<p>And then a family dinner conversation clicked into place. Alex had once told me a story about his Uncle John, Frank\u2019s brother.
