Neil didn\u2019t believe any of it. He was a 35-year-old man living a humble life, working as an airport janitor to provide for his two-year-old triplets.<\/p>\n

A few years ago, Neil considered himself a lucky and happily married man. He had a beautiful wife, three adorable daughters, and a small, cozy home in a lovely neighborhood. But one day, it all fell apart\u2026<\/p>\n

Neil\u2019s beautiful wife, who had gone abroad for a modeling job, called him one day and ended everything. They were so happy when they found out she was selected for the job. Before Neil could say anything else, the line went dead. He called her again, but the phone had been switched off. Soon, he received divorce papers, and his marriage abruptly ended.<\/p>\n

Before Neil could grieve, he realized he had to pull himself together for his children, his little angels who were now his responsibility. He didn\u2019t care if his wife abandoned him with the babies. He promised himself he would be the best father to his darling triplets.<\/p>\n

\u201cHey, hey, it\u2019s ok,\u201d Neil said gently. \u201cI\u2019m Neil. I work here.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m sorry,\u201d the boy said in tears. \u201cI am waiting for my mommy\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cDo you want me to take you to her?\u201d Neil asked. \u201cI could help you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before the boy could say anything, his stomach started gurgling, and Neil laughed. \u201cLooks like you\u2019re hungry, my little friend. Wait here. I\u2019ll be right back, ok?\u201d<\/p>\n

Neil returned to the boy with a sandwich and gave it to him. \u201cThis was the only thing I had for lunch, but you\u2019re more than welcome to eat it. Your mother will not be pleased to see you waiting for her hungry.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAre you sure I can have it?\u201d the boy asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, little man. Take it, take it,\u201d Neil said with an encouraging smile, and the boy accepted it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m Kyle,\u201d he said as he took a bite of the sandwich. \u201cCan \u2013 Can I ask you for help, Neil?\u201d His lips were trembling and his eyes welling up with tears.<\/p>\n

\u201cSure, Kyle,\u201d Neil answered with a smile, but his smile faded when he heard what Kyle had to say.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease help me\u2026\u201d Kyle looked at Neil and wrapped his arms around him. \u201cSave my mommy from that monster!\u201d he begged. \u201cShe\u2019s hurt, Neil! She needs our help!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHey buddy,\u201d Neil gave him a comforting hug and sat beside him. \u201cWhat happened to her? What\u2019s wrong?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daddy\u2026he took mommy away. He took her in the car and away from me!\u201d Kyle sobbed. \u201cNeil, will mommy be ok? She was so scared!\u201d<\/p>\n

So Kyle told him everything, and Neil knew what he had to do. He dialed 911 and alerted airport authorities of the situation.<\/p>\n

Soon after, the cops tracked down Kyle\u2019s mother, Stella. Fortunately, she had made Kyle memorize her phone number, and the cops were able to track the phone. Kyle\u2019s father was apprehended and detained, and Kyle was reunited with Stella.<\/p>\n

It turns out Kyle\u2019s dad was abusive, and Stella had fled to the airport to leave the city. She decided to spend the night in the waiting room before taking a flight the next day. But Kyle\u2019s father found her at the airport and forcibly took her to his car. Stella didn\u2019t want him to find Kyle and hurt him, so she cooperated.<\/p>\n

Kyle had seen them, but he ran away because he was scared. Not long after, he dozed off on a chair and was found by Neil.<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for saving me,\u201d Stella told Neil in tears. \u201cYou have no idea how much you\u2019ve done for us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am glad I could help,\u201d he told her. \u201cYou should go home. Get some rest. It\u2019s been difficult for you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Stella nodded. \u201cWe\u2019ve changed our plans. We\u2019re taking the next flight to my parents\u2019 town. We are finally out of our miserable life, and I don\u2019t want to see my husband again.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThank you for helping mom, Neil!\u201d Kyle gave him a big hug. \u201cI\u2019m going to miss you\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

That day, Neil watched Stella and Kyle\u2019s plane take off with a bright smile, not expecting to see them again. However, 6 months later, while sweeping the floors, someone tapped his shoulder and said, \u201cWould you like a sandwich?\u201d<\/p>\n

So Neil visited Stella and Kyle one day with his triplets, and they were surprised to find out he was a single father. Neil told Stella about his wife abandoning him with the babies, and the pain of being in a bad marriage kindled their feelings for one another.<\/p>\n
