Ben continued to comfort her as Charles drove them quickly to the hospital. They arrived, and Charles ran to the backseat to help Ben rush Diana in.<\/p>\n
\u201cI-I think something\u2019s wrong,\u201d Ben stammered the second Charles swung open the door. \u201cShe\u2019s quieter and not responding,\u201d he said, trying to stay calm while they helped Diana out of the car.<\/p>\n
It was then Ben noticed that the back of her dress was soaked in blood. He had promised Diana he wouldn\u2019t panic, but the situation was such that he couldn\u2019t help himself.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s nine months pregnant, but something\u2019s wrong. She\u2019s bleeding too much!\u201d Ben hurriedly explained as he watched the doctor take over, directing a few nurses over at the same time.<\/p>\n
As they placed Diana on a bed and began to wheel her into a room, both Charles and Ben followed closely behind her until they arrived at a border, where they were both asked to stop.<\/p>\n
\u201cWho is the husband?\u201d the doctor in charge asked when he came out of Diana\u2019s room and saw Ben and Charles standing side by side.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am,\u201d Ben said, stepping forward, surprised to see Charles do the same.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m almost family. How is she?\u201d Charles asked with concern.<\/p>\n
Ben focused on Diana. \u201cYes, how is my wife?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are complications, but we\u2019re treating her for blood loss. She might still have a natural delivery. Will you both be present?\u201d the doctor asked.<\/p>\n
Charles answered before Ben could speak, \u201cYes, both of us will be there.\u201d<\/p>\n
Both Ben and Charles knew that Charles always wanted to be there for Diana\u2019s delivery.<\/p>\n
Yes, Ben didn\u2019t like how Charles got too intimate with Diana sometimes, hugging and kissing her, but Ben trusted Diana, and since Diana considered Charles only a close friend, Ben didn\u2019t mind whenever Charles was around them.<\/p>\n

Ben had no idea what was happening, so he had no problems ignoring the stranger. He hopped into the driver\u2019s seat, about to drive off, only to hear Sam, the man Diana and Charles knew from their past, yell from beside the car where he stood.<\/p>\n
\u201cNo matter how hard you try to hide it, your secret will soon be out in the open!\u201d<\/p>\n
Ignoring him, they drove off in silence, tension hanging in the air. When they all returned to the house, Charles instantly said his goodbyes.<\/p>\n
\u201cDo you have to leave now?\u201d Diana asked with a heavy trace of concern as she watched Charles kiss the baby before kissing her on the cheeks.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat are you trying to say, Ben?\u201d Diana interrupted, confused and upset.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou have to PICK ONE!\u201d Ben exclaimed. \u201cYou can\u2019t have both me and Charles. You love me, but you also love him. What\u2019s the point in denying it any longer?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBen, you\u2019re speaking nonsense! Luis belongs to you, and we\u2019re\u2014\u201d Diana tried to argue.<\/p>\n
\u201cDon\u2019t lie to me, Diana!\u201d Ben shouted, his frustration boiling over.<\/p>\n
