When a woman claimed that her daughter disappeared mysteriously during a flight, passengers began mocking her, declaring she had gone nuts. But then she discovered something that proved she was right.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease help! I can\u2019t find my daughter,\u201d Sophia cried. \u201cI was sidetracked for a moment to change my baby\u2019s diaper, and when I returned, she was gone!\u201d<\/p>\n

She looked in the washrooms, her own room, the flight\u2019s upper deck, and even the food truck that served the passengers, believing the child might have hidden there while playing with other kids. But sadly, Sophia\u2019s daughter was nowhere to be seen.<\/p>\n

The flight attendant returned to Sophia\u2019s seat, dejected. \u201cWell, ma\u2019am, I checked at every possible place, but I didn\u2019t see your daughter anywhere. Honestly, I feel I also remember only you and the baby.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s nothing like that! Please, help me,\u201d Sophia tried explaining. \u201cI just took a sedative because I have a fear of flying.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOh, come on!\u201d a man yelled from behind. \u201cCan you guys stop shouting? I have an important meeting tomorrow. For God\u2019s sake, let me sleep!\u201d<\/p>\n

Poor Sophia broke down. She tried explaining to everyone she wasn\u2019t lying, but it was futile. Sadly, even the flight attendant began doubting her. \u201cAre you sure you only took one pill, ma\u2019am?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cYes!\u201d Sophia exclaimed. \u201cI was with my daughter. You can check the boarding pass.\u201d The flight attendant hurried to the computer to verify if Sophia\u2019s daughter had boarded the flight. It turned out she had. \u201cYes, she was with her daughter. I checked it!\u201d the flight attendant said.<\/p>\n

At this point, all the passengers were at a loss. \u201cBut then, where is the little girl? Was she kidnapped?\u201d a man spoke up.<\/p>\n

\u201cSir, we see that a child will not fit in your bag. We will only check the oversized baggage, so please cooperate with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhy should we?\u201d the woman who had complained about Sophia taking a pill protested. \u201cShe lost her child, and it\u2019s her fault! She\u2019s a terrible mother! Why should we pay for it?\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the objections, the flight attendant insisted on examining the baggage and overhead bins, but sadly, Sophia\u2019s daughter was not found.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I don\u2019t have access to this room. Only the pilot keeps the key to this compartment. You daughter can\u2019t be in there!\u201d the flight attendant said.<\/p>\n

\u201cJust open it!\u201d Sophia glared at the attendant. \u201cThe flight is about to land in less than 5 minutes. My daughter will be trapped there if we don\u2019t check it, and the criminal will get away!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut\u2026\u201d Before the flight attendant could say anything, two passengers jumped up and started shouting. \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of valuable stuff in there! We don\u2019t want to cooperate in this search!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI agree! It\u2019s a violation of security. Who is she to command us?\u201d the other passenger said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease don\u2019t listen to them,\u201d Sophia begged the flight attendant. \u201cI have a feeling my daughter\u2019s in there!\u201d<\/p>\n

The flight attendant felt bad for Sophia and decided to help her. She got the key from the pilot and opened the door. There were a lot of suitcases in the room, but no girl. Dejected, they were about to leave the room when Sophia\u2019s gaze was drawn to a hand emerging from behind a large suitcase.<\/p>\n

\u201cYes, mom,\u201d Beth said as she slowly opened her eyes. \u201cThey brought me in here, mom. Thank God you came!\u201d<\/p>\n

Beth pointed her fingers at the two passengers who had revolted against the search in every possible way. They tried to exit the compartment as soon as possible after the flight had landed, but two men blocked their way. \u201cShe has us confused with someone. It wasn\u2019t us!\u201d the woman said, trying to defend herself.<\/p>\n

Sophia took a step forward and slapped the woman. \u201cStop lying! I know you and your partner did this. How dare you touch my daughter!\u201d<\/p>\n

The flight attendant intervened. \u201cMa\u2019am, calm down. It\u2019s good that your daughter is safe. We\u2019ll make sure they won\u2019t escape easily.\u201d<\/p>\n

Upon arrival, the two passengers were interrogated by the police. It turned out they were hunting for an antique necklace. They successfully stole it from the antique dealer\u2019s bag, but Beth accidentally saw them doing that. They decided to hide her so that she wouldn\u2019t tell anyone.<\/p>\n

Since it was a connecting flight, the luggage compartment was only opened once when some passengers were getting off. At that time, while Sophia was busy changing her baby\u2019s diaper, they hid Beth in the compartment.<\/p>\n

When the truth was revealed, the antique dealer was ashamed. He thanked Sophia for saving the antique necklace and finding the burglars and apologized to Beth. Later, his museum held a large reception in Sophia\u2019s honor as she had saved their cultural artifact.<\/p>\n
